Morning Joe is the premier MSNBC news program for latté liberals who worship snide elitism. If you were a B student in prep school with parents that got you into Brown University with a phone call to the advancement office, but you swear “social justice” is really important to you… then Morning Joe is your cup of tea.
Its central premise is the illusion of intelligent discussions for those who are much more concerned with Hamptons magazine than reading actual books. Case in point… Here’s how the host of the show, former GOP Congressman Joe Scarborough, addressed the issue of vaccine passports earlier this week…
I’m now hearing lunatics that are now still pushing back on the masks but now they’re saying that if we have something that identifies us as having a vaccine, that we’re like Satan or the mark of the devil or Nazi Germany… like the idiocy is just beyond this, they’re acting recklessly and irresponsibly, they’re being stupid, they’re following conspiracy theories, they’re following a failed gameshow host, or reality TV host, and they don’t understand I guess…
Maybe they’re such morons they can’t understand this. If I want to go to a baseball game with my son who has a history of upper respiratory issues, I don’t want a bunch of idiots sitting next to us at Fenway or in a little league baseball park that haven’t taken the vaccine… They don’t have to take the vaccine and they can die.
Scarborough, it goes without saying, is a condescending, vicious hack (who in 2015, sucked up endlessly to said “reality TV host” Donald Trump). He thinks outdoor transmission of COVID is a serious risk (it is not). He also clearly, wrongly believes that his favorite political foe – the “toothless MAGA hat wearers” – are the only ones who reject vaccine passports… when in reality, vaccine hesitancy, in general, remains high among minority communities.
But Scarborough’s scornful mentality toward those with vaccine passports concerns is representative of the Fauciite consensus… Agree to yet another infringement on liberty, or you’re a troglodyte who wants to watch old people die… Accept another government mandate, or we will use the authority of the state to force you. There’s no room for nuance or good faith discussion… Just shut up and double mask, peasant.
It wasn’t long ago that talk of digital vaccine passports was downplayed or derided as a “conspiracy theory.” Once again, it turns out the conspiracy theorists were right when it comes to creeping COVID policies. Many saw this era of “vaccine papers, please” coming, and they were shouted down then. As with so many incrementalist demands of the lockdown Left, we are supposed to forget that what they once told us is crazy is now mandatory.
Yes, a vaccine passport is a straightforward idea. You would have a scannable or printed QR code that would signify you’ve been vaccinated. This would be used for access, we’re told, to sporting events and other large venues. New York State is already in the implementation phase, and the Joe Biden administration is considering how to push it at a national level through the private sector without the White House being directly responsible. Biden wants you to do it, but he doesn’t want it to be clear that his team is making you do it. What could possibly go wrong?
The sharpest, most successful Americans find themselves abandoning the U.S. dollar, allocating their money into cryptocurrencies instead. And the politicians in DC are desperate to stop it. But investors worldwide finally realize our currency is no longer safe.

For one thing, much of the national corporate media has spent the last few months hammering home that voter ID is “racist”… but now carrying around your vaccine ID so you can live your daily life is totally fine. Keep in mind that vaccination appointments generally require identification as well. The hypocrisy is quite evident, though that alone is never an impediment to the media or the lockdowners.
An Unhealthy Precedent
The privacy concerns for a vaccine passport are immense… You will be required to carry around proof of vaccination to any number of locations, and every time you’re scanned, it will create a digital record of your presence.
The use of such technology also raises innumerable questions… Will there be any other health data loaded onto the system? Who will enforce these rules?
Could this coded-entry process be expanded for other health mandates? Will they use this for flu shots every year too? Will it be required for COVID booster shots going forward as additional strains come up? Why should people who have already recovered from COVID infection have to get a vaccine, or would they be covered? How do they prove previous infection?
We are just at the earliest stage of this… The lockdowns and mask mandates have always been, at their core, about government expanding power and giving the most control-obsessed and self-righteous among us the ability to dictate everything to everyone else. Their policies failed to protect us from the virus (I tell you this as someone who is currently quite sick with COVID) and they demand more obedience in response.
Vaccine passports may sound like a reasonable short-term measure in theory, but then again, so did “15 days to slow the spread.” And that was more than 365 days ago.
This is one site that I can read and not be bombarded with popups, thank You! That is just a start, the articles are on point with what is the truth, not some pie in the sky jabber. One place I can follow outstanding Americans and not have to log on to several different sites, with good links for more in-depth research. I miss seeing some of you on TV, but this is better without the filter. Thank you – Sgt. Joe B. (Ret.)
Trish Regan Response: Wonderful to hear, Joe! I’m so glad you like the site and the magazine. Good to have you on board.
